A Sad Day

MSN reports concerning the release of 12 of the 19 remaining South Korean hostages:

"To secure the release of the church workers, South Korea reaffirmed a pledge it made before the hostage crisis began to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan by the end of this year. Seoul also said it would prevent South Korean Christian missionaries from working in the country, something it had already promised to do" (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20473825/).

This is definitely a call on the Christian church in South Korea to disobey the government. We must pray that God would raise up men and women like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abadnego, and the Disciples who respected the government but not obey the government.

Acts 4:19-22, "19 But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, 20 for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” 21 And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people, for all were praising God for what had happened. 22 For the man on whom this sign of healing was performed was more than forty years old."
