Boaz was the redeemer. Christ is The Redeemer. It's not that He had to but that He wanted to.

Father, thank You for Christ the Redeemer. Thank you not that He died in some vague sense for the sins of the world. Rather, thank You that He died for my sins. Thank You for my Redeemer.
